We're Ready To ROCK!
4 Days of 4-Wheelin'
Classic Bronco RoundUp
Sept. 25th – 28th, 2013 at SuperLift Off Road Park
The Oklahoma Classic Bronco RoundUp is a once a year event for owners of 1966-77 Broncos. This RoundUp has grown from an afternoon in the park for 20 trucks, to a Wednesday through Sunday event - packed with food, fun and four-wheeling. ‘OCBR’ is traditionally held in late September, always before the start of deer season!
In 2012, the 14th Annual event registered 129 Broncos and including our awesome sponsors who attended, we had 21 states represented! Our coveted “Iron-Butt” award went back to Rapid City South Dakota this year. Kevin and Twila Meyers are previous (3X) Iron-Butt winners. In 2011 they watched the award go to Maine, when with two serious wheelers drove 1609 miles ONE WAY to attend.
OCBR has a way of bringing together strangers from many states and sending them home as family and friends! OCBR "Family" and vendors in 2012 brought together folks from Oregon to Florida -Wisconsin to Texas and Hawaii returned this year as well. Thank you to all who came, enjoyed and made it possible for OCBR to make that statement!
Why in Arkansas:
Why is OCBR held in Arkansas? We’ve been asked this question several hundred times….The SuperLift Off Road Park in Hot Springs Arkansas offers something for everyone and every truck – from mild to WILD. In addition the city of Hot Springs offers numerous hotel/motel accommodations for those who don’t wish to camp, and Hot Springs has a vast history – mineral baths, great food, shopping and other attractions for those who need a ‘break’ from the trails.
We will open Check-In/Registration at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 25th. As always, the t-shirts will have a new look and there will be surprises in the registration goodie bags. Pre-registration is not required but it certainly helps us with the count for meals and shirts. Waiting to register at the event will cost you a few dollars more this year. As soon as you have signed in, you can hit the trails! Guided trail runs begin Thursday morning and continue through Saturday. You are welcome to stay and wheel on your own on Sunday which is included in your event pass. Plus purchasing a membership to the park during OCBR will save you $$! Be sure to ask for info at Check-In.
Our concession provided by Randi & Jimmy Gaitlin & their folks turn out awesome breakfast & lunch in addition to specials like Fried Fish & Ribeyes on Friday night. Believe me, you won't be hungry when they feed you! The Thursday night "Mexican Feast" has been so enjoyed that Smokin' In Style will be back with it for 2013. Good food and a chance to renew old friendships and make new ones! It is always a good time, meeting other Bronco owners and swapping stories – bring your pictures and brag!
We gather for the group picture Saturday morning immediately following the Drivers Meeting and before the trail runs…the park has the perfect ‘corral’ for all the Broncos! Saturday evening brings the traditional OCBR BBQ Dinner by Smokin' In Style and then the raffle. The prizes are always awesome! The 2013 Sponsor page will soon be under construction and new sponsors will be added as confirmation and donations arrive so check back often. If you contact any of the sponsors throughout the year, please mention the Oklahoma Classic Bronco RoundUp and how much their support of our event is appreciated.
We invite you to join us this year for OCBR #15 - 2013. The ‘Events’ page contains all the downloads you need: Cover letter with hotel info, Thursday’s Campfire Dinner reservation, No Tolerance Policy, Registration Form and Event schedule. As always, if you have questions, please contact us. Our email and phone numbers are on the contact page.
Thanks for visiting our website and we hope to see you in September!
