OCBR 2008 – The 10^th Anniversary!

 The Oklahoma Classic Bronco Roundup is a once a year event for owners of 1966-77 Broncos.  This Roundup has grown from an afternoon in the park for twenty trucks to a Wednesday through Sunday event packed with food, fun and four-wheeling.  Traditionally held in late September, the 2007 event registered 100 Broncos and including our sponsors who attended, we had 15 states represented!

 The SuperLift Offroad Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas will again be the Headquarters for the 2008 OCBR.  Why is OCBR held in Arkansas?  We’ve been asked this question several hundred times……The SuperLift Park offers something for everyone and every truck – from mild to WILD.  The city of Hot Springs offers numerous hotel/motel accommodations for those who don’t wish to camp out.  In addition, Hot Springs has a vast history – mineral baths, great food, shopping and other attractions for those who need a ‘break’ from the trails.

  We will open Check-In/Registration at 2:00 pm on Wednesday September 24^th.  As always, the t-shirts will have a new design and there will be surprises in the goodie bags given to everyone that registers.  Pre-registration is not required but it certainly helps us with the counts for meals and shirts.  As soon as you have signed in, you can hit the trails!  Guided trail runs begin Thursday morning and continue through Saturday.  You are welcome to stay and wheel on your own on Sunday too.

 We plan a meal for everyone when they get off the trails on Thursday night.  Good food and a chance to renew old friendships and make new ones!  It is always a good time, meeting other Bronco owners and swapping stories – bring your pictures and brag!

 The Friday Night Cruise gives us a chance to see more of Hot Springs and gives Hot Springs a chance to see us!  Lots of heads turn as our long line of Broncos cruise down Main Street!  We will end the cruise at Ryan’s Steakhouse where we can sit down – eat, drink and be merry together!

 The group picture is first thing Saturday morning before the trail runs and the park has the perfect spot!  The BBQ and raffle are a Saturday night tradition and the prizes are always awesome!  The 2008 Sponsor page has begun to be updated for the 2008 event and new sponsors will be added as confirmation and donations arrive so check back often!  If you contact any of these sponsors throughout the year, please mention the Oklahoma Classic Bronco Roundup and how much their support of our event is appreciated.
